Decade of 80's: from the antique pottery to the contemporary dinnerware.

In 1975, Don Francisco Romero Lerma (son of the founder) become Managing Director of the company. For a little over one year he continued manufacturing ceramic pottery in the old factory. Then in 1979 they moved to a new modern location with 2500 m2 of floor space. This change enabled the company to adopt new and more efficient methods of manufacturing. The idea was to retain the craftmanship method of production but, at the same time, to employ the best techniques necessary.

1969: Ancient wood furnace.

From 1977 until 1990 they continued with lines of production based on traditional ceramics. It was in the decade of the 1990´s that an important change was made: the application of modern decorations and contemporary designs on traditional models. The factory of Romero Lerma was one of the pioneers in the manufacturing of this type of ceramic, with a mixture of traditional and contemporary designs. Today the company specialises in these lines offering a wide range of ceramic shapes as decorations.
