The firing

During the first firing in the kiln, pieces are transformed into what is known as ceramic bisque, a hard porous material most suitable for painting by hand.

This process takes approximately 8 hours, keeping a strict observation to the temperature cycle in order to obtain the maximun benefit from the firing.

All the pieces are hand painted by experts without the use of any guide lines or transfers, therefore ensuring that each piece is unique and retains its original design.
