The glaze

After the painting we proceed to glazing the pieces using the inmersion method. Before firing the glaze is white in texture and completely covers the colours, then after melting during the second firing it acquires the characteristic transparent aspect.

...Once again into the kiln

The final stage of making ceramic is a second firing in the kiln, during which a series of chemical reactions are produced: the glaze melts and the colours develop in their own tones.

Thus the final product is obtained after a laborious process as each piece has been manipulated more than 30 times.
